Mission Darkness™ Faraday Bags, Analysis Enclosures, and Materials Have Been Lab Tested to Certify That They Meet Military Standards MIL-STD-188-125-2 and IEEE 299-2006 Shielding Effectiveness

Shielding Effectiveness Testing Conducted By Keystone Compliance, a Full-Service Regulatory Compliance Laboratory

The positive test results provide evidence of our shielding claims, and also offer peace of mind for our customers who demand guaranteed high-shielding products either to be used in the digital forensics field, military, government, aerospace, security, health, privacy, emergency preparedness, or construction industries.

The products tested certify that they meet military standards MIL-STD-188-125-2, High-Altitude Electromagnetic Protection for Ground Based C4I Facilities. This compliance measure ensures that electronic components and systems are protected against the effects of EMI, and also shielded against high-altitude electromagnetic pulses (HEMPs) and related occurrences, such as coronal mass ejections (CMEs), electrostatic discharges (ESDs), and solar flares. The succesful results provides concrete proof to the shielding ability and effectiveness of Mission Darkness product offerings.

IEEE 299-2006 is a standard for evaluating the shielding effectiveness of materials used in the construction of electronic and electrical equipment. The standard provides a methodology for conducting shielding effectiveness tests and evaluating the results to determine the ability of the materials to reduce the amount of electromagnetic interference (EMI) that enters or leaves electronic devices. Our shielding effectiveness tests occured at a frequency range of 1.5GHz to 40GHz. The frequency range tested is in line with our product requirements to block WiFi (2.4 & 5GHz), Bluetooth, cell signals including 5G networks, GPS, RFID, NFC, and radio signals from low MHz to 40GHz.

Mission Darkness™ USB Cables Have Been Lab Tested to Certify That They Meet High-Quality Standards

Rigorous USB Cable Testing Conducted By Underwriters Laboratories (UL), an Esteemed Independent Safety Science Company

At Mission Darkness, we understand that the accessories accompanying our products hold as much significance as the main items themselves, particularly when these products are destined for critical fields like law enforcement and military digital forensics.

It's with this understanding that we’ve committed to providing not just good, but exceptional quality in every component, including our USB cables.

We strive to match and even surpass the quality standards set by MFI certification. Our lab-tested cables are proof of this, demonstrating exceptional performance in various critical metrics, including power efficiency, D+/D- pair attenuation, D+/D- pair differential impedance, D+/D- pair propogation delay, D+/D- intra-pair skew, D+ and D- DC resistance, error rate, and compatibility.
