Mission Darkness TitanRF™ Faraday Glove Set

Standard and Extra-Large Sizes Available — Choose From the Drop-Down Menu

Constructed With Two Layers of TitanRF™ Flex Faraday Fabric, an Elastic High-Shielding Conductive Material

The Mission Darkness TitanRF™ Faraday Gloves are made out of TitanRF™ Flex Faraday Fabric, an elastic high-shielding conductive fabric that has been lab tested and certified to confirm shielding effectiveness standards IEEE 299-2006 (see report below). The set includes two double-layer gloves—universal size for left and right hands. They are primarily used for shielded hands-on touch and device screen operation in forensic labs, RF boxes, and similar enclosures. The material blocks RF signals such as WiFi, cell signals including 5G networks, GPS, and Bluetooth.

They are the same gloves used with the Mission Darkness Block Box Lab, and can be easily installed/replaced in the case of a punctured or worn-out glove. The leading source of signal penetration in RF boxes is gloves with holes or abrasion that the user cannot see, which is why it is important to frequently test your lab set-up and replace gloves as needed. *If using the gloves with a forensic box other than the Mission Darkness BlockBox Lab, installation steps may vary depend on the particular unit/model; contact us for further guidance or to ensure that the gloves will fit your unit.

Scientifically Proven Performance, Lab Tested and Certified

TitanRF™ Flex Faraday Fabric Laboratory Testing, to Confirm Shielding Effectiveness Standards IEEE 299-2006

IEEE 299-2006 lab testing completed by Keystone Compliance, shielded gloves for hand-on touch screen device operation

Testing Completed by Keystone Compliance Laboratory on October 7, 2020

TitanRF™ Flex Faraday Fabric, the same material used in the shielded gloves, has been tested and certified to meet shielding effectiveness standards IEEE 299-2006. The shielding effectiveness test was conducted by Keystone Compliance, a full-service regulatory compliance laboratory offering solutions for nearly all EMC/EMI, environmental, ISTA-certified package and ingress protection testing requirements.

IEEE 299-2006 is the standard test method for measuring the effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding enclosures and materials. A properly-shielded device will effectively retain all RF energy in its faraday enclosure and keep all external RF isolated. The TitanRF™ Flex Faraday Fabric is advertised as a material that can be used to isolate devices by blocking the frequency range most mobile devices and electronics transmit/operate within. To provide validation for this claim, the shielding effectiveness test measured how well the tape shields frequencies between 1.5GHz to 40GHz. The positive test results provides authentication of its shielding abilities. The full test report and signal attenuation graph can be viewed on the link below.

Good size and quality

Good replacement gloves for our lab and easy to install. Works for touch screen operation although I prefer to use a stylus with the gloves.

Difficult to use

They don’t fit right. Ok for general use but not for anything specific. Hard to maneuver. Can’t use fingers tips because of the way they are sewn.
