Room-Scale
RF
Isolation.
Walk-in Faraday enclosures engineered for SCIF operations, digital forensics, EMI testing, and EMP defense. From single-person pods to multi-chamber forensic operations tents - every system blocks all wireless signals from low MHz to 40 GHz.
What Is a
Faraday Tent?
A Faraday tent is a portable, room-scale electromagnetic shielding enclosure. Built from conductive fabric over a rigid frame, it creates a sealed space that blocks all wireless signals - WiFi, cellular, Bluetooth, GPS, RFID, NFC, and everything in between.
Unlike permanent shielded rooms that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, Mission Darkness Faraday tents deliver comparable shielding performance at a fraction of the cost. They can be set up in hours, relocated between facilities, and customized with filtered power, data connections, and EMP surge protection.
Every tent uses our proprietary TitanRF™ Faraday Fabric - a non-stitched copper-nickel composite that achieves 80+ dB of attenuation from low MHz through 40 GHz, tested and verified to MIL STD 188-125 and IEEE 299-2006.
Anatomy of a
Faraday Tent
Every Mission Darkness tent combines four engineered systems into a single deployable enclosure that achieves shielded-room performance without permanent construction.
Door-Style vs.
Drape-Style
Mission Darkness Faraday tents come in two fundamental architectures, each optimized for different deployment scenarios. Understanding the difference is key to choosing the right system.
CYPHERCYLENT™ Faraday
Tent Systems
From single-person enclosures to triple-chamber forensic operations tents - every CYPHERCYLENT system is built to order with 80+ dB attenuation and made in the USA.
Faraday Tent
The core of the CYPHERCYLENT lineup. A room-scale RF isolation system for digital forensics, SCIF operations, and EMI testing. Non-stitched TitanRF™ fabric, patent-pending carbon fiber frame, and RFMagLink™ magnetic door seal.
Tent with Vestibule
The standard CYPHERCYLENT tent enhanced with a vestibule entry chamber. The vestibule acts as an RF airlock - open the outer door, step inside, close it behind you, then open the inner door to the shielded space. This prevents signal ingress during entry and exit.
Forensic Operations Tent
Three independently shielded chambers connected by vestibule airlocks. Designed for multi-stage forensic workflows where different operations need simultaneous RF isolation - evidence intake, analysis, and data extraction can happen in parallel.
Faraday Pod
A compact, single-person Faraday enclosure for focused operations. Same TitanRF™ construction and shielding performance as the full-size tents in a smaller footprint - ideal for individual workstations, interview rooms, or field deployment where space is limited.
Faraday Capsule
A tabletop Faraday enclosure designed for shielding laptops, tablets, and small electronics without taking up floor space. Same TitanRF™ construction as the full-size tents in a compact desktop form factor. Includes a shielded filter panel for power and data pass-through while maintaining full RF isolation.
Faraday Vehicle
Covers
Protect vehicles from EMP events with military-grade Faraday covers. Available in both door-style (CYPHERCYLENT) and drape-style (Exodus) configurations.

Vehicle
Forensics
Modern vehicles generate 25 GB of data per hour across 70+ onboard computers. Infotainment systems cache call logs, text messages, contacts, GPS history, paired device data, and media files. A single paired smartphone can leave thousands of recoverable artifacts inside a vehicle's systems, even after the user attempts to delete them.
RF isolation is critical during vehicle forensic acquisition. Without it, connected vehicles can receive over-the-air updates that overwrite evidence, accept remote wipe commands, or transmit GPS coordinates that compromise investigation secrecy.
What Investigators Extract
Controlled Extraction
Inside the Faraday enclosure, investigators connect forensic hardware directly to the vehicle's OBD port and infotainment system. With all wireless signals blocked, the acquisition proceeds without interference from cellular towers, satellite links, or WiFi networks. Every byte of extracted data maintains forensic integrity from the moment the tent door seals.
Without a Faraday Enclosure,
Evidence Is Compromised
Every connected vehicle is a live network endpoint. Without complete signal isolation, critical evidence can be destroyed or contaminated during the forensic process. Defense attorneys routinely challenge evidence integrity when proper RF isolation was not documented.
Where Faraday
Enclosures Deploy
Mission Darkness Faraday tents are engineered for industries where RF isolation is mission-critical. Each application requires different configurations, but the shielding performance is constant: 80+ dB from low MHz through 40 GHz.

Waterproof Covers
Exterior waterproof covers protect the TitanRF shielding fabric from rain, humidity, UV exposure, and environmental damage during outdoor and field deployment.
TitanRF™
Technology
Every Mission Darkness Faraday tent is built on our proprietary TitanRF Faraday Fabric - a non-stitched copper and nickel composite weave that eliminates the seam failure points found in conventional shielding materials.
The fabric is bonded with conductive TitanRF Tape at every joint, creating a continuous conductive shell with no signal leak paths. This construction method is what enables 80+ dB of attenuation across the entire frequency spectrum.
