The Charge Preserve Evidence Bag is the first evidence bag to integrate a USB charging cable directly into the bag — allowing seized devices to stay powered without ever breaking the hermetic seal. Designed for law enforcement and digital forensic teams, it preserves both physical evidence (DNA, fingerprints, blood) and digital data simultaneously. Made from tamper-evident PET+PE with UL-certified cables, this patent-pending design is purpose-built to meet forensic chain of custody standards from the moment of seizure to lab analysis.

Usage Instructions

Follow these steps for proper evidence handling. Full instructions are also printed on the front of each bag.

Prepare for Collection
Put on forensic gloves before handling the device or evidence bag. Pair with the Accessory Kit if DNA collection is required.

Insert Device
Slide the seized device into the bag, aligning the charging port with the integrated USB cable tip.

Document on the Bag
Complete the printed note fields: recovery details, officer info, date/time, and power connection status.

Hermetically Seal
Remove the adhesive backing strip and press firmly. Once sealed, reopening leaves visible evidence of tampering.
05
Connect External Power
Attach the USB extension cable to the tip from the tail sleeve. Connect to a power bank, outlet, car charger, or forensic tool.

Optional: Add RF Shielding
Place inside a Charge & Shield Faraday Bag and connect the dual-sided USB filter to the cable tip.

Open for Analysis
Cut along the printed cut line at the bottom. Reseal with tape to maintain chain of custody.

Important Note

Do not pierce or modify the bag to route a cable — this destroys the hermetic seal and may compromise evidence admissibility.
