Every BlockBox Lab XL ships with the connectivity, storage, and wear parts a lab needs to start processing devices on day one.
Choose your build
Four standard-model configurations. Select one to load it in the buy box, or choose from the drop-down above. Thermal management and external documentation can be added at purchase to increase capabilities.
Standard Model The core forensic lab: full RF isolation, dual-sided shielded filter, metered power, conductive gloves, and the Gen 2 viewing window. Everything most labs need, no camera hardware.
Adds a mount on the outer lid to photograph evidence and device screens through the shielded window. Canon T6i camera available by custom invoice.
Shielded honeycomb vent plus a 120mm Noctua NF-P12 fan with speed controller to manage heat from high-processing tools and prevent device swelling.
The fully equipped standard build: shielded vent and cooling fan combined with the external camera mount for both thermal control and documentation.

Applications
Doubles as a Faraday bag transfer chamber
Place a sealed Faraday bag inside, close the lid, and open it with the conductive gloves to move a device between bags (for example into a Charge & Shield bag) without ever exposing it to RF. Reseal the new bag, open the lid, and the device leaves still shielded. NeoLok magnetic-closure bags are preferred so gloves are never at risk from Velcro or scissors.

We use Faraday bags in the field to transport devices to the department, then keep them powered and shielded in a Blocker Locker until the proper search authority is obtained. Keeping devices on, powered, and protected has given us better success getting into the majority of the devices we process.
