The Mission Darkness™ TitanRF™ Faraday Crate Cover is engineered for secure transport and storage of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), drone payloads, sensitive electronics, and high-risk seized materials. Once installed and sealed, it converts a standard shipping crate — including large wooden transport crates — into a fully shielded faraday enclosure that blocks wireless signals and helps prevent tracking, remote access, command link intrusion, and data exfiltration.

The cover is particularly well suited for wooden storage and shipping crates commonly used to house long-range unmanned systems such as the HESA Shahed-136, which are often transported with wings and components disassembled. When installed over these crate configurations, the TitanRF cover creates a continuous RF isolation barrier, ensuring no signals can enter or exit the enclosure during transit, staging, or storage.

Beyond UAS applications, the cover is also effective for law enforcement, customs, and military units handling seized materials that may contain concealed tracking devices, embedded cellular modules, GPS beacons, RFID tags, or other wireless transmitters. This includes narcotics shipments, contraband, electronics, or other confiscated assets suspected of containing hidden communication components. An extended header allows for a secure envelope-fold closure, and included conductive faraday tape seals seams and overlaps to maintain uninterrupted conductivity. Constructed with four layers of TitanRF Faraday Fabric, the cover utilizes a nickel-copper woven conductive material engineered for high shielding effectiveness and durability. The multilayer design enhances structural resilience while delivering consistent attenuation across the wide frequency ranges commonly used by drones, tracking devices, and counter-UAS systems. The cover blocks WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular (including 5G), GPS and GNSS, RFID, NFC, and radio frequencies from low MHz through 40GHz.

USAGE WARNING

  • Faraday fabric performance can be compromised by prolonged exposure to water, sharp objects, or punctures; the cover should not be used to contain wet crates or unprotected sharp items that could damage the shielding material.

  • Ensure no items, such as cables, penetrate the cover, as this will allow signals to pass through.
