Mission Darkness keyfob faraday bag protects vehicles from relay hack remote access

The #1 Trusted Security Measure for Preventing Keyfob Signal Amplification

SKU: MDFB-K — Now Sold as a 2-Pack!

Malicious vehicle entry using keyfob signal boosting methods is the leading threat in the automotive community. Criminals are using signal amplification devices to boost or mimic a keyfob's signal to gain access to automobiles without any forceful entry. The Mission Darkness™ Keyfob Shield is a high quality faraday bag designed to keep vehicles secure by blocking the fob's signal from communicating with the vehicle. It's built with a durable and water-resistant ballistic nylon outer material, and the interior includes three layers of high-shielding TitanRF™ Faraday Fabric on all sides with dual paired seam construction.

The faraday bag works by shielding "always-on" keyfobs and other small electronics (like Apple Watch, transmitters, and credit cards) from radio frequency signals, ensuring that the device cannot get hacked and the signal it constantly emits cannot be boosted. The bag should be used as a preventative measure for vehicle and data security. The bag also allows you to keep a spare keyfob isolated and locked inside your vehicle. The advanced signal blocking bag is commonly used for vehicle security, forensics, military, executive travel, data privacy, and personal security. The capacity is large enough to fit two fobs, or an average set of keys with accessories. The keyfob should remain inside of the faraday bag at all times (when not in use) to ensure your vehicle security.

It works as advertised (if only for some time)

Purchased a key fob faraday cage bag for my BMW keys and the pouch does work as advertised. The problem is that after about a year of use, the protection fades until it starts blocking RF signals just as good as a tube sock. It's a shame because other than that, this bag is well made and convenient.

Works. Wish it had liner.

It blocks my keyfob signal well. It has plenty of room for my big wad of keys but it still fits nicely in my pocket. One improvement would be to have some sort of abrasion-resistant liner inside. Currently, the keys contact the Titan RF fabric directly. The fabric is prone to abrasion and punctures. Why would you leave it unprotected from the keys' sharp edges?

Works as intended

I use this for rental car keys since they're all fobs now and haven't had any issues. I keep it in my pocket and put the key in it any time I'm not actively accessing the car. I'd love to have a small clip inside to attach the key inside the bag itself to keep them together, or a clip on the outside so I can clip the bag to my belt or bag—as I've pulled the key out of the bag from my pocket a few times, and it's pulled the bag out so it drops on the pavement. I may fashion a tie to the strap that goes across, but a small attachment loop on the outside would be nice. Otherwise, I love it—thanks for a great product.

Worked for three months.

Worked for at the most 3 months. Ended up buying a metal fob holder for my truck from Amazon.
