Safety Information

TitanRF Faraday Fabrics, tapes, and other products including these items are made with metals such as copper and nickel. As such, they are conductive and also flammable. Keep these items away from outlets, plugs, cables, and any sources of electricity to reduce the chance of fire.

  • It is advisable to always handle the metallic fabric and tape with gloves to prevent deterioration due to skin oils.
  • Do not place sharp unprotected objects inside the enclosure to prevent damage to the faraday cage liner.
  • Use only in indoor spaces. Prevent exposure to rain, humidity, chemicals and other contaminants or elements that might damage the materials.
  • Do not leave exposed wires with active current on or near the fabric. The faraday fabric is electrically conductive and is not fire-resistant.
  • When selaing the enclosure ensure a complete seal without and cables protruding before proceeding with signal testing to achieve full RF isolation.
  • The material is highly flammable; keep away from an open flame.
  • The material is highly conductive; keep away from exposed outlets and wiring.
