FIELD-DEPLOYABLE RF ISOLATION FOR DRONE FORENSICS AND LIVE ANALYSIS
The Mission Darkness™ Drone Ops Rapid Cinch is a field-ready, RF-isolated containment system designed specifically for drone recovery and forensic operations. It enables operators to quickly insert a downed or seized drone, isolate it from external RF signals, and safely perform examination or data extraction within a fully shielded environment.
Built for military defense, law enforcement, and investigative teams handling UAVs, the Drone Ops Rapid Cinch combines high-shielding performance with a rapid-deployment design. Its rigid aluminum interface plate features two double-layer conductive gloves for precise manipulation of devices inside the enclosure and a patented RF-FilterVu™ transparent viewing window, allowing clear visibility of the drone and equipment while maintaining complete signal isolation. A supportive T-stand holds the interface plate upright when in use.
A modular filter plate system provides customizable connectivity options based on mission needs. Standard configurations include a single-port filter with USB 2.0 or a multiport filter with AC power, RJ45 Ethernet, and dual USB 2.0 ports; additional filter options are available upon request.
The enclosure body is constructed with two layers of TitanRF™ Faraday Fabric, certified to MIL-STD-188-125 and IEEE 299-2006, providing reliable shielding from WiFi (2.4 & 5GHz), Bluetooth, cellular (including 5G), GPS, RFID, NFC, and low-MHz through 40GHz signals.
A defining feature of the Drone Ops Rapid Cinch is its drawstring cinch-style closure, which replaces conventional folded or magnetic seals. This innovative approach allows for a wide, unobstructed opening, ideal for fitting larger drones and equipment, while maintaining ease of operation and rapid sealing in the field.
The kit includes a set of replacement conductive gloves, two high-quality Cable Sets, a signal-dampening foam block (which provides a padded platform as well as increased shielding in high-signal strength environments), two stylus pens, and a padded carrying case to hold the accessories and collapsed enclosure. The lightweight kit can be easily transported between field recovery and lab analysis.
